This was sparked by a cameo in a friend's story, where she had Hugo as a doctor in an AU. I decided to take that and run (very far away ...) I tweaked Hugo a little bit and made him into an actual doctor, but it's not Hugo. It's Hugh Kessler, who is about a dead ringer for Hugo. Little taller, little broader, longer hair.
