I've been a fan of goldstone for as long as I can remember. I'll admit to a weakness for all things sparkly and one of my first creations - long since given away - was a necklace designed around a large blue goldstone donut.
As I mentioned earlier, goldstone isn't technically a semi-precious stone since it's base materials (copper and glass) aren't semi precious, nor is it a stone of any kind. It's microscopic copper flecks mixed with clear, molten glass.
However, goldstone as as much universal appeal as any other semi-precious stone. Like the others, it doesn't need flashy shapes or added splashes of color to stand out in a crowd.
